Emily Blunt is an English-American actress best known for her supporting roles in films such as ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, ‘The Girl on the Train’ and ‘Edge of Tomorrow’. A passion for acting in her growing up years saw her play the part of Juliet at the age of 19 in the 2002 theatrical adaptation of the popular Shakespearean tragedy ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Adapted for the London stage, Emily starred opposite the famous British actress Dame Judi Dench. After appearing in several other stage productions, she got her first big break when she was offered a role in the British television film Boudica. She also played Kathryn Howard in the TV drama Henry VIII. Shortly after, she hit the big screen with the movie “My Summer of Love”. Since then, Emily has starred in several films, TV series and serials, received several prestigious awards and nominations.

  • Emily Olivia Leah Blunt was born on 23 February 1983 in London, to Oliver Simon Peter Blunt, a lawyer, and Joanna, a teacher and actress. Emily has three siblings, one older sister named Felicity, younger sister named Sebastian, and younger sister named Susanna.
