Alchemy of Souls season 2 episode 2 brings an end to the first weekend of the sequel and we are loving everything we got in these two episodes!
Most watched Alchemy of Souls season 2 directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Yoon-jung, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members, the sequel premiered on tvN on December 10, 2022.
Episode 2 of the new season has brought out the mysterious return of Naksu after her body was seen burning in season 1. However, this revealed the cruelty in Jin Ho-kyung’s character whose obsession with her daughter Jin Bu-yeon reached new heights in this episode.
On the other hand, we saw our anger being soothed as Jang Uk saved our emotions with his charismatic entry and protection that saves Bu-yeon/ Naksu in this episode. His powerful entry into the assembly and the declaration of her being his wife have certainly stolen our hearts and we are loving this strong Jang Uk.
Meanwhile, Naksu’s character portrays an innocent yet wild side which is acceptable as we all know that she has no memory of the person she was three years back and is as blank as anyone can be. However, there are some personality traits that have been left behind from her time as Mu-deok which have been discerned by some fans.
And this brings us all to the comparison between Jang Uk’s behaviour towards Mu-deok and Naksu in the two seasons that will fill you up with emotions unknown. Finally, fans are also loving Bu-yeon’s reaction upon seeing Seo Yul and we all know that is as relatable as it can get.
