Rachel Mee, 25, Social Media Influencer and Model tragically dies
The social media star and OnlyFans model Rachel Mee from Newcastle has died days before her baby’s first ever Christmas.
The social media influencer, 25, better known as Rachel Kaitlyn had her son Kyro in March this year and sadly passed away on Sunday December 18.
Rachel with 40,000 followers on Instagram worked as an OnlyFans model and was a dancer. Baby Kyro – who Rachel ‘adored with all her heart’ – will now have to spend his first Christmas without his mother.
Close friends of Rachel Claire Robinson has now opened a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the tot’s future.
She wrote: ‘This Christmas will be Kyro’s first, and devastatingly his mummy will not be there.
‘We are all so saddened with this devastating news how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl.’
Rachel’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed. But her friend Claire added: ‘Rachel sadly lost her battle with the pressures of this world.
‘We are all so saddened with this devastating news, how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl and how she felt she had no other option [than] to no longer be here.’
Her friend Claire added: ‘Leaving behind her beautiful little boy who she adored with all her heart.
‘We feel if we can raise some funds for Kyro’s future just to take a little stress away from Rachel’s family and to help in some way.
‘Or to even give Kyro a little head start in life raising some funds in memory of his beautiful mummy.’
A second GoFundMe campaign was launched by family friend Chris Coppen to raise money for the funeral costs.
Chris said: ‘I’ve been asked from the family of Rachel to set a GoFundMe up as there have been so many messages paying respects and asking how they can help.’
Social media users took to both fundraisers and the influencer’s social media pages to leave tributes.
One – called Helen – said: ‘Devastating to hear. Oh Rachel RIP my gorgeous girl – the world will be less colourful without you.’
Another said: ‘This is the saddest news. Rachel, I hope you’ll finally find peace. You will be missed.’
A third added: ‘Didn’t know you personally, followed you on Instagram, but feel devastated, a beautiful girl. RIP angel.’
One – named Lauren – said: ‘I am in tears.
‘Rest in peace you beautiful soul and may God look after your baby. Keep him safe, healthy and blessed forever amen.’
Another said: ‘I cannot believe the news I’ve just heard not so long ago.’
