Prince William and Princess Kate share behind-the-scenes footage from their time in the US
Prince William and Princess Kate of Wales Kate have documented their whirlwind three-day trip to the US on social media by sharing a collection of photographs.
Captioned: ‘Thank you, Boston’, the images showed Princess Kate, 40, posing with a Black Labrador during her trip to Harvard University, as well as Prince William meeting US President Joe Biden.
The photos captured an intimate moment shared between the royal couple when at the Earthshot Prize awards. William is seen with his hand on Kate’s back as they sit together, facing away from the camera.
The heartfelt post, thanking Boston for its hospitality last week, coincided with the release of behind-the-scenes footage of the awards, posted to the global challenge’s Instagram account.
The Royals made the trip for for the Earthshot Prize Awards – an event created by Prince William in 2020, which annually celebrates people for their contributions to environmentalism.
In one picture, Princess Kate was snapped crouching next to a black Labrador, in a custom Emilia Wickstead, long-sleeve dress, which she paired with black pumps and Daniella Draper embellished gold hoop earrings.
The photos collection also featured moments from the Earthshot Prize awards, sitting court side at a Celtics basketball game, and a picture of William with US President Biden.
Instagram users were thrilled to see the post and left a huge amount of comments sending the royal couple warm wishes.
The Prince William and Princess Kate was met by hundreds of excited well-wishers and took the time to greet those who had waited in the cold to meet her, asking people for their names before thanking them for their support.
